Still Hot after All these Years

Tsun Tzu's classic military manual shot to fame in the 80s because it was the text cited several times in the movie "Wall Street". Michael Douglas' character, Gordon Gekko, -- a thoroughly ruthless stock trader -- relied on Tsun Tzu's practical wisdom in engineering his own success in corporate warfare.

This little book is packed with precepts and aphorisms that apply equally to the battlefield and the boardroom. I find the style somewhat quaint, and the relevance of some of it is too obscure. But there's a great deal that translates well into modern business strategic and tactical thinking.
